We are excited to announce that Fun Spot America has partnered with the MLK High School Dream Classic again for 2027!

But this year, we’re taking the experience to another level.

On Sunday, January 17, 2027, from 12:00 PM–5:00 PM, Fun Spot America Orlando will host a special DREAM SUNDAY exclusively for teams participating in the 2027 High School Dream Classic!

After competing on the court, it’s time to put the basketballs down, bring the teams together, and create memories that will last long after the final buzzer.

Participating Dream Classic teams will come together at Fun Spot Orlando for an afternoon of rides, food, fun, competition, and team bonding.

🎢 THE DREAM SUNDAY EXPERIENCE

Fun Spot Orlando offers attractions for athletes and coaches looking for everything from high-speed competition to laid-back fun, including:

• 🏎️ Multi-Level Go-Kart Racing – Challenge your teammates on Fun Spot’s patented multi-level tracks, including Commander, Quad Helix, Conquest, and Thrasher.

• 🎢 White Lightning – Take on Orlando’s only wooden roller coaster, reaching speeds up to 48 mph.

• 🎢 Freedom Flyer – A suspended family roller coaster that sends riders soaring above the park.

• 🎡 Thrill & Family Rides – A variety of attractions for different levels of adventure.

• 🐊 Gator Spot – Get an up-close look at real Florida alligators and wildlife.

• 🎮 Arcade & Games – Challenge teammates with classic and modern games, racing games, sports games, ticket games, and more.*

• 🍔 Food – Dream Sunday will include food for participating teams as part of our special event experience.

• 🏆 TEAM BONDING – Most importantly, it’s an opportunity for players and coaches from across the country to come together away from the basketball court.

WHY DREAM SUNDAY?

The High School Dream Classic has always been about more than basketball.

Throughout the weekend, these young athletes compete against one another. On Sunday, we want them to have the opportunity to laugh together, race each other on the go-kart tracks, enjoy the rides, meet players from other programs, and experience Orlando together.

For a few hours, rivals become friends and individual teams become one Dream Classic family.

It’s an opportunity to reset, recharge, and build stronger team chemistry before returning to competition.

And for programs traveling from outside Florida, Dream Sunday gives players and coaches another reason to remember their trip to Central Florida as much more than another basketball tournament.
